Subject: [SLR-Mail] No.2596: Re: SLR Operations Center File Server From: Laing, Jason (Peraton) (US Person) All, Almost all File Server connectivity and functionality has been restored, though we do have one process that is being run manually run. This process will be moved back into automation in the near future, and there should be no impact to users. Thank you, everyone, for your patience as we worked to resolve this issue! We`re still working to restore access for CDDIS deliveries, and expect that will be back in place by Wednesday. If our timeline changes, I`ll be sure to send a status update. Thank you for your patience as we work to restore access. (GSFC-61A0) > Subject: SLR Operations Center File Server All, Yesterday, the SLR Data Operations Center experienced a crash on our File Server, the system used for receiving station observation data and sending products to CDDIS and other users. This outage was originally seen as intermittent connectivity failures, but by the end of the day yesterday, the File Server was almost entirely unusable. We`ve been working to resolve this problem for the past day, and while we`ve been able to bring a new File Server online, we are currently in the process of configuring access for the system. That process should be complete by Monday of next week for station operations personnel, and Wednesday of next week for CDDIS file transfers. Please feel free to reach out to me or the SLR OC at gsfc-slr-data-ops@lists.nasa.gov if you have any questions.
