Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 128: ILRS Governing Board Elections From: John J. Degnan <[Mailed John Degnan ]> ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 1998-07-07 21:00:00 UTC Message No. 128 ******************************************************************************** Author: John J. Degnan Subject: ILRS Governing Board Elections jmb@ltpmail.gsfc.nasa.gov (John Bosworth), pearlman@cfa.harvard.edu (Mike Pearlman), beutler@aiub.unibe.ch (Gerhard Beutler) The last of the letters providing the CSTG SLR/LLR Subcommission response to organization proposals to serve the new International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) in some capacity (i.e. tracking station, analysis center, data center, operations center) were sent out about ten days ago. If you have not already received the letter, it should be arriving shortly. I noticed that some of the letters did not provide a date for submitting your list of personnel associated with the ILRS function and their email addresses to Carey Noll and simply said ”as soon as possible”. It should have read ”by July 10”, and I apologize for this oversight. If you are associated with an approved ILRS organization, it is important that your principal technical contact compile this list and send it to Carey by July 10 at the following e-mail address: noll@cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov (Carey Noll) so that you can participate in Governing Board elections taking place this summer. Only associates of approved ILRS organizations can be nominated for Governing Board positions and/or vote in the elections. The current list of approved organizations can be found at the following CSTG SLR/LLR Subcommission web site: http://cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov/cstg/ilrs_appr.html I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Sincerely, John J. Degnan Chairman, CSTG Subcommission on Satellite and Lunar Laser Ranging [Mailed From: John Degnan ] ********************************************************************************
