Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 159: Distribution of daily GLONASS IRVs for IGEX-98 From: Wolfgang Seemueller, EDC; Roger Wood, RGO <[Mailed W. Seemueller ]> ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 1998-09-17 18:00:00 UTC Message No. 159 ******************************************************************************** Author: Wolfgang Seemueller, EDC; Roger Wood, RGO Subject: Distribution of daily GLONASS IRVs for IGEX-98 Distribution of daily GLONASS IRVs for IGEX-98 Following on from the announcement made in SLRMAIL 151 this message gives details of the availability and distribution of the daily IRVs computed at Herstmonceux from the CODE orbits formed in Berne. Please refer to SLRMAIL 151 for details of file naming and definitive information about satellite identifiers. FTP access: To repeat the information given in SLRMAIL 151: the files are deposited at the European Data Centre (EDC) in subdirectory: pub/laser/predictions/RGO_PRED and at RGO in subdirectory: pub/slrirv/current from where they are available by anonymous FTP. Email: The files are available by email on request to Wolfgang Seemueller (seemueller@dgfi.badw-muenchen.de). Stations may choose to receive file with either the 6 hourly IRVs (multiplicity 4) or 24 hourly IRVs (multiplicity 1) - please specify when making your request. Addresses on the lists will receive mail messages for all active GLONASS satellites each day with the following standard headers: Subj: GLONASS-62 IRVS COD4 SWISS/RGO for multiplicity 4 Subj: GLONASS-62 IRVS COD1 SWISS/RGO for multiplicity 1 GPS predictions: Exactly the same scheme is used to produce IRV files for the two GPS satellites tracked by the network. At present 6 hourly IRVs for both are available at EDC and RGO using a file naming scheme announced in SLRMAIL 36. Subscribers to the GLONASS email lists will also receive GPS files using the naming convention adopted for the GLONASS files. The ”old-style” GPS file deposits will be discontinued at the end of 1998 September. [Mailed From: ”W. Seemueller” ] ********************************************************************************
