Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 398: HOLLAS (7210) Epoch Corrections From: Van S. Husson, NASA SLR ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 1999-08-10 08:06:00 UTC Message No. 398 ******************************************************************************** Author: Van S. Husson, NASA SLR Subject: HOLLAS (7210) Epoch Corrections Beginning in June 1999, HOLLAS (Station 7210) was experiencing excessive drift rates with their cesium. Their cesium failed totally on 5 August 1999. A new clock is being shipped to them as soon as possible. HOLLAS is expected to return to operations (with their new clock) on or before 13 August 1999. Below are the HOLLAS (station 7210) epoch corrections for the period 02 Jun 1999 through 04 August 1999, inclusive. The station regrets any inconvenience this may have caused. Note: To correct the epoch time bias subtract the correction from the NP timetags (i.e. NP timetag - correction) Date Time bias correction ----------- -------------------- 02-Jun-1999 -0.6 microseconds 03-Jun-1999 -0.5 microseconds 04-Jun-1999 0.7 microseconds 08-Jun-1999 0.6 microseconds 17-Jun-1999 5.8 microseconds 18-Jun-1999 7.3 microseconds 29-Jun-1999 3.2 microseconds 30-Jun-1999 4.1 microseconds 01-Jul-1999 4.9 microseconds 02-Jul-1999 5.6 microseconds 07-Jul-1999 9.1 microseconds 08-Jul-1999 9.8 microseconds 09-Jul-1999 1.1 microseconds 14-Jul-1999 5.6 microseconds 15-Jul-1999 6.6 microseconds 16-Jul-1999 7.5 microseconds 21-Jul-1999 12.2 microseconds 22-Jul-1999 13.6 microseconds 23-Jul-1999 14.6 microseconds 29-Jul-1999 12.4 microseconds 30-Jul-1999 15.4 microseconds 03-Aug-1999 26.9 microseconds 04-Aug-1999 30.8 microseconds From: HussonV@thorin.atsc.allied.com (Husson, Van) ********************************************************************************
