Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 718: 4th Quarter 2000 Report Card From: Van Husson, ILRS Central Bureau > ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2001-01-18 00:54:00 UTC Message No. 718 ******************************************************************************** Author: Van Husson, ILRS Central Bureau Subject: Subject: 4th Quarter 2000 Report Card The 4th quarter 2000 performance report card is now available from the ILRS Web Site at: http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/perf_2000q4.html All performance graphs are available for download in a power point file (107Kb) at: http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/Report_Card_2000Q4.ppt There are two small change to the report card in two of the categories. First, the data latency metric granularity has been changed from days to hours. Second, the long term bias stability metric is based on the standard deviation of the CSR monthly range bias estimates (based on the pass-by-pass results from the CSR Weekly LAGEOS report). The new long term bias stability metric indicates our best systems have range bias stabilities at the few millimeter level (versus many millimeters), which is probably a better reflection of the actual ´TRUTH´ and is one of our strengths.
