Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 740: Attention: ILRS Network Stations From: Mike Pearlman > ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2001-02-23 11:40:00 UTC Message No. 740 ******************************************************************************** Author: Mike Pearlman Subject: Attention: ILRS Network Stations Dear Colleagues: On May 15, 1999 the ILRS Governing Board approved tracking on three GLONASS Satellites for IGLOS. Several substitutions have been made since that time. Since August 2000, when GLONASS 79 failed, the ILRS Network has been tracking only GLONASS 78 and 80. We are now adding GLONASS 84 to the ILRS tracking list at the request of IGLOS. The COSPAR number for this satellite is 0006302 (see the ILRS web page for an explanation of other numbers.) The prediction centers at HTSI and NERC are already issuing acquisition data for this satellite. Please add it to your tracking roster. The IGLOS Project appreciates your support, Best regards, Mike Pearlman Secretary ILRS Central Bureau Dr. Michael R.
