Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 953: TIGO SLR operational From: Stefan Riepl, BKG > ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2002-06-07 17:02:00 UTC Message No. 953 ******************************************************************************** Author: Stefan Riepl, BKG Subject: TIGO SLR operational Dear Colleagues, it is my pleasure to announce the operational status of the TIGO SLR module in Concepcion, Chile. Due to some SMTP malconfiguration this email is transmitted quite late, since we gather data since end of April. Unfortunately the automatic normal point transmission was affected as well. Our normal point data gathered more or less during may is available now at EDC. As our SLR team consists of five potential observers only, most of them part time (equivalently three full time), we will concentrate our activities on night time observations, as the weather in the rainy season permits. Some details: 1. Approximate SLR marker coordinates: Latitude [deg]: -36.8430056 Longitude [deg]: -73.0253264 Height (WGS84) [m]: 169.288 X [m]: 1492032.819 Y [m]: -4887946.041 Z [m]: 3803565.986 The coordinates are derived from the first VLBI experiments and the local survey. They should be accurate to 2cm. 2. CDP Pad id: 7405 CDP System number: 79 CDP Occupancy Designator: 01 3. Excentricity of SLR Telescope SRP (Marker->SRP): North [m]: -0.193 +- 0.0007 East [m]: -0.001 +- 0.0006 Up [m]: 1.467 +- 0.0008 4. Although the TIGO SLR module is a two colour system, we have to restrict ourselves to release data of the blue channel (423.5 nm) only.
