Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 1389: Jason-1 back to Nominal Mode and SLR tracking From: Gilles Tavernier for Jason-1 Project team and Jason-Ops team > ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2005-09-28 18:51:00 UTC Message No. 1389 ******************************************************************************** Author: Gilles Tavernier for Jason-1 Project team and Jason-Ops team Subject: Jason-1 back to Nominal Mode and SLR tracking Dear colleagues, Thank you all for your valuable support which helped a lot. As expected, Jason-1 is now back to nominal configuration: - attitude mode nominal: Earth pointing - command/control nominal - payload: operational mode On-board datation is performed by the platform GPS receiver. The DORIS receiver has been continuously operating, even in Safe Mode and is fully operational. The Poseidon altimeter as well as the JMR radiometer and the TRSR (precise GPS payload instrument) are operational. You can restart the satellite tracking with the usual priority from now on seeing that the satellite is in nominal mode with DORIS operational. If you have any question, don´t hesitate to contact me. Thank you very much again for your effective contribution.
