Subject: [SLR-Mail] No. 1656: 7405 CONL TIGO operational again From: Bernd Sierk, TIGO, BKG > ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2008-04-09 00:52:00 UTC Message No. 1656 ******************************************************************************** Author: Bernd Sierk, TIGO, BKG Subject: 7405 CONL TIGO operational again Dear colleagues, I am glad to announce that TIGO SLR (CONL) is back to operation much earlier than expected. We have worked out a temporary solution by reactivating the event timer (ET), which had been used with our old 10 Hz laser system until its replacement in March 2006. A software adjustment now enabled us to run the old ET with our current repetition rate of 100 Hz. The Dassault and clock modules built into this system are identical with those of the damaged ET, which will be sent to BKG/Wettzell for repair. Since the hardware change only affects the electronics ”around” the Dassault modules, we do not expect any systematic effects or biases in our data. Nevertheless please let us know if you encounter any problems. We have resumed operation, and are sending data as of Monday, April 7.
