Pavlis and Horst Müller Subject: 16th ILW Session 11:” Atmospheric Corrections: Theoretical and Experimental Approaches”, Call for Papers Atmospheric Corrections are still an area where Laser Ranging can make improvements as we are entering the technique´ ”Next generation”. The 11th session of the 16th International Workshop on Laser Ranging in Poznań, Poland, scheduled for 08:30-10:00 on Thursday, October 16, 2008. We solicit contributions that will discuss both the performance, modification and/or improvement of the present models to account for atmospheric delays, as well as the presentation and evaluation of novel approaches that could improve further the accuracy of ILRS data and products. We are particularly interested in contributions that will address not only the corrections for ranging to targets in orbit, but also to ground targets used in the system calibration process, which should be consistent in accuracy with the models used for the satellite data. please email abstracts to: Erricos C.
