Subject: [SLR-Mail] No.2201: Upcoming EUROLAS Meeting in Japan From: Bianco Giuseppe Author: Giuseppe Bianco NOTE: this message is intended to reach the EUROLAS community but, since at this time an up-to-date EUROLAS mailing list doesn´t exist, I´m using the whole SLRmail list. Therefore, I apologize to all non-EUROLAS colleagues who might just want to disregard this message. A 1-hour EUROLAS meeting will be held during the forthcoming ILRS workshop in Fujiyoshida, on November 12th, lunch time, in the ”Sakura” room. geo.science.hit-u.ac.jp/lw18/ The purpose of this meeting will be to gather ideas and suggestions on how to reorganize the EUROLAS consortium, which has been mostly sitting idle in the last few years. I´ll make a 10 minute opening address and will then open the floor for discussions and ideas, so please be ready to contribute. Based on the outcomes of this discussion, Georg Kirchner and I will try to sketch a reorganization which will be discussed via e-mail within a newly defined EUROLAS maling list. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience for anything related to this issue. See you in Japan. Best Pippo Bianco, MLRO, Italy
