(GSFC-6980)” Author: Frank Lemoine Dear Colleagues: We remind the colleagues in the geodetic community of the upcoming (early) deadline for abstracts to the IDS Workshop in Lake Constanz, Germany, October 27-28, 2014. This meeting is associated with the Ocean Surface Science Topography Science Team (OSTST) meeting. The early dealine is June 23, 2014. We recognize the timing of this meeting coincides with the ILRS workshop, nonetheless we hope some colleagues of the ILRS can still attend the meeting, to discuss the synergy and the combination between the geodetic techniques such as SLR and DORIS. More details can be found at the website link below: http://ids-doris.org/report/meeting-presentations/ids-workshop-2014.html Abstract submission as well as logistical information are availble from this link: http://www.ostst-altimetry-2014.com/programme/ As a reminder we are soliciting papers in five categories: Sessions: 1. IDS processing for ITRF2013 2. Precise orbit modeling and Precise Orbit Determination 3. Network and constellation: status and evolution 4. Use of DORIS in multi-technique solutions for the Terrestrial Reference Frame. Applications in oceanography, atmospheric studies and geophysics 5. New DORIS missions, applications and products Best regards, Frank Lemoine, NASA GSFC (On behalf of the IDS Workshop Scientific Committee) IDS scientific committee: Frank Lemoine ( NASA/ GSFC, USA) -chair- Guilhem Moreaux ( CLS, France) Laurent Soudarin (CLS, France) Petr Stepanek (Geodesy Observatory Pecný, Czech Republic) Daniella Thaller (BKG, Germany) Cédric Tourain ( CNES, France) ****************************************
