Subject: [SLR-Mail] No.2259: Session on reference frames at Fall AGU 2014 From: Zuheir Altamimi Author: Zuheir Altamimi, Frank Lemoine & Jake Griffiths Subject: Session on reference frames at Fall AGU FM 2014 Dear Colleagues, The Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union will be held in San Francisco, 15-19 December 2013. We bring to your attention the following session: Reference Frames: Determination, Usage and Application For the quantification of many geophysical phenomena, e.g. sea level variation, glacial isostatic adjustment, geophysical seasonal signals, post-seismic deformation, a global reference frame, such as the International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF), is needed. The session solicits contributions ranging from theoretical formulation, determination to applications of reference frames. Error budgets and limiting factors of reference frames determined by space geodesy data are of importance to this session. In the context of ITRF2013, contributions from analysts of space geodetic techniques (VLBI, SLR, GNSS, DORIS) and their combination are also welcome. The deadline for abstract submission is 06 August 2014: https://fallmeeting.agu.org/2014/ Please consider submitting a paper for this session or contact us directly if you have any questions.
