Subject: [SLR-Mail] No.2878: Cancellation of the 2025 ILRS Workshop in Arequipa, Peru
From: Carabajal, Claudia C. (GSFC-61A.0)[SCIENCE SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS INC] <claudia.c.carabajal@nasa.gov>

Dear ILRS colleagues,

Due to circumstances beyond their control, the University of San Agustin (UNSA) will not be able to host the 2025 International Workshop on Laser Ranging at Arequipa, Peru this fall. We thank the UNSA team for all their efforts planning and preparing for hosting the workshop. We are considering the option of holding a virtual meeting this year if there is sufficient interest, support for organizing, and approval by the ILRS Governing Board. We are interested in your thoughts regarding holding a virtual ILRS workshop and offers to help organize. The next in-person workshop will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2026.

Regards,
ILRS Central Bureau.
