Welcome to the EUROLAS Data Center (EDC) at DGFI-TUM in Munich. After an Agreement between the Consortium of European Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) Stations EUROLAS and the Deutsches Geodätisches Forschungsinstitut der Technischen Universität München (DGFI-TUM) the EDC was installed in August 1991. This agreement defines the tasks of EDC to guarantee the necessary data flow between the SLR stations and the analysis centers.
The terms of reference define the charter and organization of the EUROLAS Consortium.
The new International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) was installed in September 1998. The Crustal Dynamics Data Information System (CDDIS) has created web pages for this ILRS. EDC provides a mirror of these ILRS Web pages.
This is a reminder that it is critical that you acknowledge the ILRS and include SLR as a 'key word' in your papers and presentations that rely on SLR data and results. The SLR community relies on these citations and references to strengthen its requests for continued support from its funding organizations.
