| Subject: | [RapidServiceMail] No.23: ILRS/AWG Rapid Service Mail (JCET) 7501 Systematic range bias | |
| Content: | Dear Ludwig, The AWG, based on the QC results from Hitotsubashi Univ. and JCET (at least), have noticed a systematic range error at the level of -6 to -7 cm starting about Mar. 11 for your system (see attached QC files and graph). It seems that your issue is with the calibration process since as you can see from the attached plot of the estimated range bias, system precision and calibration mean, your biases come in two populations (red squares, significantly non-zero and purple diamonds, around zero) of which the significantly non-zero values show a strong dependence on the calibration mean. When your calibration mean hovers around 16320 mm your range bias is significantly non-zero (except for one case). Please have a look at what may be causing this systematic errors and please let us know when the problem is resolved and if the data can be recovered through a fixed correction or with the adjustment of a range bias. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, ecp |
