Subject: MOBLAS 5 (Station 7090) Frequency Problem

Data from station 7090, MOBLAS 5 in Australia, exhibited a frequency
error for the following periods of time:

January 16, 1998 at 0:00 GMT to January 26, 1998 at 21:40 (inclusive)
and January 27, 1998 between the times of 9:00 and 11:20 GMT.

Data taken after January 27, 1998 at 11:20 are OK along with data taken
between January 26, 1998 at 21:40 GMT and January 27, 1998 at 9:00 GMT.

We recommend that the data with the frequency error not be used for
scientific purposes, because the exact error can not be verified by
engineering measurements.

We regret any inconvenience this error may have caused.
