| Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2003-01-07 16:21:00 UTC Message No. 1030 ******************************************************************************** Author: Reigber Subject: 2nd CHAMP science meeting @ GFZ Potsdam, Sep 1-4, 2003 Dear colleague, please note that the second CHAMP science meeting will take place September 1 - 4, 2003 at GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam. Originally the meeting was scheduled for February 18-21, 2003, but due to many other important commitments and overlaps with other meetings we have to postpone it now to this later date. You are warmly invited to attend the meeting and to present your contributions. We hope you have not too many difficulties with this rescheduling and will be able to arrange coming to Potsdam in September. The program will cover the topics Gravity, Magnetics and Atmosphere/Ionosphere Sounding. A comprehensive meeting announcement will be issued soon. Please check the CHAMP web site http://gfz-potsdam.de/champ/ at times for updates. The proceedings volume of the first CHAMP science meeting will be published in mid-February 2003 (First CHAMP Mission Results for Gravity, Magnetic and Atmospheric Studies, ed. by Ch. Reigber, H. Luehr and P. Schwintzer, Springer-Verlag Heidelberg, 2003). A dummy of the book was already presented in San Francisco at the Fall AGU last December. Please feel free to inform colleagues who might be interested about the CHAMP meeting.
