Subject: Standard SLRmail subject line for station new items
Subject: CDP marker number + location name + brief description of
Subject: 7110 MONL New SOD and System Eccentricities

Dear Colleagues,

The ILRS Central Bureau is now implementing some automatic processing
to record and dispaly incoming information from the field stations.
In order to facilitate the automatic inclusion of station news into
the newly re-designed station web pages, all station news should be
sent to SLRmail and should adhere to the new following subject line
requirement:

Subject: CDP marker number + location name + brief description of
news item

Example:

Subject: 7110 MONL New SOD and System Eccentricities

The CDP numbers and the ILRS 4-letter Character Code are delineated
in the 1st and 2nd columns in the Site Identifier List at:

http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/stations/sitelist/index.html

Note: The CDDIS assigns the CDP marker number and the ILRS CB
assigns the 4-letter character codes:

The news from the field stations is very important for proper handing
of the data. Please help us expedite this process.

Best regards,

Mike Pearlman
