Subject: Software for checking Normal points at the stations

At the recent meeting in Wettzell, Georg Kirchner announced that I would make
a program available which would do some integrity checks on NPs at the station.

The program and template for setting station parameters to be used by the
software (along with the Herstmonceux data file as an example) are available at

ftp://mtuftp.nmt.ac.uk/nercslr/software

Each station should then edit the template and include upper and lower values
for Pressure,Temperature,Humidity,Calibration RMS and Calibration values, and
also the wavelength(s).

For each individual satellite, stations should know and insert upper and lower
limits for RMS and also set a minimum number of points/NP

It is hoped that using this program (or any similar code) will greatly reduce
the amount of erroneous data arriving at the data centres.

Should anyone have any problems with the software they should feel free to
contact me.

Attached below is the template
