Wetzel, NASA SLR Subject: Stoppage of METEOR-3M SLR Predictions Dear Colleagues, Due to the severe NASA budgetary funding situation, HTSI regrets that there will be significant disruptions in service to the generation and delivery of HTSI SLR predictions. Predictions for satellites that require extensive manual effort will no longer be supported at the current level. Therefore, satellites, such as METEOR-3M, with very sparse SLR tracking will not be supported during periods of SLR inactivity. Further, HTSI expects that other satellites will be impacted by this reduction in support. We will make every effort to inform you about any other service interruption. As a result of this situation, a service interruption for the METEOR-3M mission will begin tomorrow, 12/13/03. We regret this disruption in service and hope that this will be resolved in the near future. Regards, Scott L. Wetzel NASA SLR Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc.
