Subject: 14th Workshop on Laser Ranging Instrumentation

Dear colleagues,
we would like to draw your attention to the session
´´Atmospheric Correction and Multiwavelength Techniques´´.

>From the ´´atmospheric´´ point of view, millimeter accuracy is a difficult
but also straightforward step requiring the review of up-to-date procedures,
atmospheric mapping functions and dispersion models, datation of
meteorological parameters and data formats.

The topics dealt within this session include:
1. Combination of microwave and optical observing techniques.
2. Tomographic techniques for deriving meteo profiles and/or gradients
from GPS data.
3. Analysis of Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) data.
4. Data format considerations.
5. Two Color SLR.
6. Analysis of low elevation tracking data.
7. Nonlinear dispersion effects.
8. Atmospheric propagation of short laser pulses.

We would like to encourage you to contribute a presentation concerning your
work in these areas.

Abstracts are due within the 1st of May 2004.

Thank you,
Cinzia Luceri
Stefan Riepl
