| Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2004-04-21 23:37:00 UTC Message No. 1208 ******************************************************************************** Author: Carey Noll/GSFC Subject: Launch of GP-B According to the GP-B website, http://einstein.stanford.edu/, the satellite was successfully launched from Vandeberg Air Force Base on April 20 at 9:57:24 AM PDT. The mission is a collaboration between NASA and Stanford University to test two principles predicted by Einstein´s theory of relativity. The science phase of the mission is scheduled to start 5-6 weeks after launch. We will keep you posted on SLR tracking plans.
