The objective of this session is to present new developments in Earth, orbit and instrument models, and to consider their impact on analysis results in the areas of crustal deformation (in particular the vertical component), altimetry (including global and regional sea level variation), gravity (including time variation), geocenter determination, tides (including loading effects) and atmospheric phenomena. The session will demonstrate progress in analysis strategies to improve the quality of SLR solutions (internal and external consistency). Finally, it will illustrate the unique characteristics and contributions of SLR resulting from combination and comparison studies. Speakers will probably be alloted 15 minutes, including 2 minutes for questions. Abstracts can be sent to either one of the 2 convenors mentioned below. Looking forward to seeing you in Deggendorf, Peter Dunn, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (pdunn@ccmail.stx.com) Ron Noomen, Delft University of Technology (ron.noomen@lr.tudelft.nl) [Mailed From: ”R Noomen, DUT” ******************************************************************************** |
