Subject: 7843 AJAF New Ftlrs occupation in Ajaccio in support of Jason1 calibration.

Dear colleagues,

We just began a new campaign funded by CNES with our Ftlrs system in Ajaccio in support of Jason1 calibration and mission..

This occupation in Corsica is the third on the same Pad, with two previous campaign of six months in 96/97 and 2002.

The first pass has been tracked on may 14th 2005 and the data are now distributed in real time in the normal flow to Ilrs.

We plan to observe about six months for this occupation with high priority on Jason1, Topex, Lageos 1/2, stella, starlette, Ers2 and envisat..

Don´t hesitate to contact us for any questions, comments and scientific projects and application of interest for the future with this system...

We take the opportunity of this message to inform our community that a ” Call to international cooperation for the use of FTLRS Ultra Mobile Laser Station” will be issued in the next weeks by GRGS/CNES agency through ILRS.

Thanks for your cooperation and best regards

Francis Pierron
