Subject: 7848 AJAF FTLRS precise coordinates at Ajaccio (Corsica, France)

Dear colleagues,

Due to intensive work which is realized with the FTLRS during its
campaign (from may to october) at Ajaccio (Corsica, France) some of the
analyst ask from precise coordinates of this geodetic site.

Please find the marker coordinates at epoch 1997.0 (ITRF2000) which
have been published in:
Exertier, P., J. Nicolas, P. Berio, D. Coulot, P. Bonnefond, and O.
Laurain, The Role of Laser Ranging for Calibrating Jason-1: The Corsica
Tracking Campaign, Mar. Geod., Special Issue on Jason-1
Calibration/Validation, Part 2, Vol. 27, No. 1-2, 2004.

AJACCIO 7848 10077M002
coordinates: 4696992.026 724001.507 4239671.542 (in meter)
velocities: -0.014 +0.020
+0.011 (in meter/year)
a station range bias of -7mm has been estimated from the 2002 campaign
and should be equivalent for the 2005 one (in our convention a negative
bias means that the system ranges too short).

Excentricity (from marker to SRP) for 2005 campaign are given below:
North [m]: 0.000 +- 0.001
East [m]: 0.000 +- 0.001
Up [m]: 1.8504 +- 0.001
but can be found at:

Best regards
