Degnan Subject: Annual CSTG SLR/LLR Subcommission Report Professor Gerhard Beutler, CSTG President, has asked me to compile an annual report on the state of SLR/LLR by the end of July. Clearly, a major accomplishment is the establishment of the new International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) and will be a primary focus of the report. Also we have several new spacecraft missions which were recently launched or are soon to be launched. However, if you know of any significant developments in the technology, analysis, or operations area that you feel would be of general interest to the SLR community and should be highlighted in the annual CSTG Subcommission report, I invite you to send a short summary (paragraph or two) to me for consideration. Thanks. John J. Degnan Chair, CSTG SLR/LLR Subcommission [Mailed From: John Degnan ******************************************************************************** |
