New experiment (Communication engineering test with earth ground station) of OICETS will begin May 8 (Japan Standard Time). Only during this experiment, OICETS flies upside down. In short, the optical sensor turns to the earth direction. In order to avoid damage to the optical sensor, we will stop distributing prediction file from May 2. By ranging for OICETS, we will calculate orbit of OICETS with high accuracy. It is expected that the success rate of the experiment will improve.
