Gurtner Subject: Zimmerwald 7810: Change in the calibration procedure Today, June 21 2006 we switched our calibration procedure from internal to external calibration. The varying biases between blue (423 nm) and infrared (846 nm) ranges were mainly caused by unexplained variations in the internal infrared calibration, variations that obviously do not show in the external calibrations. It seems that the calibrated infrared ranges which were short by about 15 mm w/r to the blue ranges these days are now, after the change of the procedure, back to normal.
