Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2006-09-08 09:19:00 UTC Message No. 1487 ******************************************************************************** Author: Hiroo Kunimori Subject: Advanced Concepts; Eyesafe session at the 15th International Laser Subject: Advanced Concepts; Eyesafe session at the 15th International Laser Subject: Advanced Concepts; Eyesafe session at the 15th International Laser Ranging Workshop Dear Colleagues, I am organizing the ”Advanced Concepts; Eyesafe” session during the 15th ILRS International Laser Workshop in Canberra, scheduled presently from 16:00 to 17:30 on Wednesday, October 18, 2006. I would like to invite you all to contribute with presentations of your work associated with the NEW CONCEPTS, PLAN, TEST RESULTS of a NEW FIELD related to SLR including EYE SAFE related topics. Background in this session is that Satellite Laser Ranging has been borne and established in a geodesy field, and interacted with many other fields and applications through error source incorporated with each other, and applications incorporated by advanced technology. We scope FUTURE of SLR. Dealing topics included here for examples are followings: 1) SLR related Application such as Time transfer Dynamics of spacecraft Atmospheric LIDAR Surveillance of debris Optical Communication Aircraft or Space borne system 2) Eye Safe technology and operation Aircraft detection Radar Eye safe Wavelength Low peak power technology 3) New concept of any physics or technical problem/solution using or combination of SLR If anyone has additional subjects to be dealt in the session, please contact me via email. Detail procedure and format is at http://www.ilrscanberraworkshop2006.com.au/ The abstracts should be emailed to me with one copy to Jennifer Mullaney ( must state Session name). If you are in vacillitating the paper to be in which session, then put multiple session names. A list of abstracts will be compiled into a booklet which will be provided to each delegate at the start of the Workshop. The final date/time for submission of abstracts to Session Chairs is 23:59 O´clock UTC on the LAST DAY of SEPTEMBER ! The format of abstract could be free text (including title, authors, authors affiliation and body text) or PDF (if you intend include important result expressions, tables and/or figures ), must be fit less than one page. Because of limited time of oral presentation, poster contribution is also welcome. Please specify which is your preference , although chairperson may override request later.
