Subject: 7403: Arequipa, Peru: TLRS-3 SLR Data to be released

Dear Colleagues,
=20
NASA is pleased to announce that the TLRS-3 system, located at Arequipa,
Peru, has once again begun operating after more than 2 years of hiatus.
The TLRS-3 crew, as well as HTSI engineers, have obtained over 80 SLR
passes since the end of September. Although the system is still in an
engineering check-out period, we will be releasing this preliminary data
in the next few days for your evaluation. Please be aware that TLRS-3
has not yet been surveyed since the system was reinitialized. A survey
will be performed in the near future, and the system site log will then
be updated on the ILRS web site.
=20
We would like to welcome any and all analysis of this critically located
SLR data.
=20
Thank you,
=20
