The post-fit residuals were sorted by the number of single-shot returns per normal point bin (intensity), and by the applied system delay. We used the one-year data from Sep 2005 to Aug 2006. This study will help stations to detect (and reduce) systematic measurement biases, even at a few mm level. The plots for more than 20 laser ranging stations are now available on line. ”Range Bias vs Intensity” http://www2.nict.go.jp/w/w122/control/pod/bias-intensity-0506.pdf ”Range Bias vs Applied System Delay” http://www2.nict.go.jp/w/w122/control/pod/bias-delay-0506.pdf (Variation of system delay) http://www2.nict.go.jp/w/w122/control/pod/delay-0506.pdf Please contact otsubo@nict.go.jp for comments or questions. Also, due to interruption of electric service scheduled this weekend at NICT Kashima, we cannot update the daily bias reports from Saturday (28 Oct) to Monday (30 Oct).
