The 4th Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) Assembly will be held in Bangkok on 30 July - 4 August 2007. We think it is important that the IAG measurement services participate. All of the services including the ILRS have had strong contributions to their networks from Asian countries and it would be very desireable to have representation at this meeting which encompasses both oceanography and Asian based programs. Dr. Park and others are trying to build an SLR system in Korea. Our presence will help support the momentum of their activities. In particular, it would be very desirable to have a couple of contributions on analysis and interpretation by ILRS associates (including perhaps the reference frame) and a general ILRS overview that would stress both the global and regional contribution of the ILRS to activities of interest to the Society. We would like to assemble a small delegation to participate. It may also be good chance to visit SLR groups in the region while you are there. Would you be interested in going to this meeting?
