Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2007-02-13 18:41:00 UTC Message No. 1533 ******************************************************************************** Author: Randall Ricklefs Subject: Consolidated Laser Ranging Data Format (CRD) available on CDDIS Dear Colleagues, As reported at the ILRS Workshop in Canberra last October, the ILRS Data Formats and Procedures Working Group is in the process of creating a new format for the fullrate, sampled engineering, and normal point data to replace the current formats. This change is being driven, for different reasons, by an upcoming lunar transponder mission and the growing number of kilohertz lasers in the ILRS network. Please review the Consolidated Laser Ranging Data Format (CRD) at http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/products_formats_procedures/crd.html. There will be discussions and possible approval of the format during DF&P WG and ILRS Governing Board meetings at the EGU in Vienna this April, so your input now is vital to insure the best possible product. Thank you! Best Regards, Randall L. Ricklefs The University of Texas / Center for Space Research ricklefs@csr.utexas.edu From: ”Randall L.
