Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2007-04-04 23:42:00 UTC Message No. 1542 ******************************************************************************** Author: Andriy Bilinsky Subject: 1831 LVIL A.Lohvynenko is away Dear colleagues, with a deep sorrow i would like to announce to the SLR community, that=A0 Alexandr Lohvynenko suddenly passed away on March 27 at the age of 70. A.A. Lohvynenko had worked for almost 50 years at Astronomical observatory, he was its director for 25 years. His scientific interests were connected with optical observations of the artificial satellites since 1957 when the first satellite was launched. During last years he did the best of his ability and even much more to create the new SLR station in Ukraine (LVIL 1831). He began this work and we would continue the one.
