| Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2007-07-17 09:32:00 UTC Message No. 1578 ******************************************************************************** Author: Chris Moore Subject: 7825 STL3 Mt Stromlo Laser Power Upgrade It took a little longer than expected, but the first stage of laser power upgrade of the Mt Stromlo SLR system has now been completed and the station is again operational. Laser power has been increased by a factor of three giving approximately 1.2 W at 60Hz. The second stage consists of an upgrade to the ranging software and this is expected to be installed within the next two weeks. This installation is not expected to significantly impact tracking operations.
