| Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2007-08-31 16:36:00 UTC Message No. 1598 ******************************************************************************** Author: Francis Pierron Subject: Fall 2007 Ilrs Workshop in Grasse - Third Circular Dear Colleagues The Deadline for registration and abstract contributions for the 2007 Grasse Laser Workshop is fast approaching (the very last reasonable deadline is September 9th). 1.About Session contents, we are relying on each of you and we really need your help to make this workshop a success. Don´t hesitate to send contributions to chair persons very quickly, even in ”small format” (poster presentation), we´ll do our best with the program committee to include them in a suitable session. It could be in the days to come some modifications in the Program especially for scheduling but not on issues and topics. See on our Web Site the Program and the ”calls for contributions” from chairs. 2.For participants or group desirous willing to put Poster in A0 format or similar, we´ll have materials and boards available in the back of conference room, don´t hesitate to bring with you nice posters about your activities even seen before... 3.Concerning Later registrations, they will be accepted but might result in difficult or alternative accomodations. It is our hope for all delegates to have accommodations as convenient as possible near historical center of Grasse and conference place, so can I request for all those intending to come to the Workshop and not yet decided, to visit the registration and Hotels web page in the next few days: (http://www.obs-azur.fr/gemini/ecoles_colloq/colloques/ilrs2007/index.php?lng=en) Contact directly Hotels for vacancies, contact us in case of difficulties. 4.Concerning your arrival,the ground transfer from International Nice Airport to Grasse (40 km) can be easily achieved by regular bus directly from the terminal 1 to the center of Grasse and very cheap (1,30 Euros), but with latest departure on 19:55 on Sunday and 20:10 during the week. Taxi is a possibility too, but very expensive for one only. Of course hire a car is still possible, we´ll try to put a convenient map on Web Site to help you in driving from airport to Grasse (about 1 hour driving time) For all these items, a link is applied on our web site in the ”Travel” column.
