When I see the number of Email circulating for this event in our community, I´m really impressed with such a nice and efficient work from all of you to prepare this workshop. -All chairs transmitted us abstracts for talks and you can consult them on the dedicated Web pages : http://www.obs-azur.fr/gemini/ecoles_colloq/colloques/ilrs2007/ -For participants or group desirous to put Poster in A0 format or similar, we´ll have materials and boards available in the back of conference room, don´t hesitate to bring with you nice posters about your activities even seen before... We can print them for some colleagues having a long travel to Grasse and willing to not carry posters on the plane, thanks if needed to contact us today or tomorrow.. -We recall you that the registrations for all participants will be on Tuesday morning (08:30-09:30) at the conference place with the registration fees to pay in cash only (100 Euros+eventually banquet for accompanying people:35 Euros). In theses fees will be included coffee breaks,Tuesday reception with Grasse Mayor,Thursday final banquet, lunch on Tuesday and Thursday, trip to Observatory on Friday, Grasse visit for accompanying people on Wednesday.. -Concerning travel, the ground transfer to Grasse ( 40 km) can be achieved by regular bus directly from Airport to the center of Grasse and very cheap (1,30 Euros).The departure from this bus is from the terminal 1 (in case of arriving at terminal 2, take first a shuttle to T1) A link for bus schedule is applied on our web site in the ”Travel” column, we updated them yesterday, please check before and remind that it´s different between week and Sunday.. Of course, hire a car is still possible but not needed for workshop by itself with accommodations in Grasse, taxi is a possibility too, but very expensive for one only. -We are currently adding on the Website informations and maps (”Travel” and ”Map”) to help you in : -driving from Airport to Grasse ( if you don´t have Euros, don´t forget to get at least some in Airport to pay highway) -walking in Grasse from Hotels to conference center (but it´s very easy and everybody in Grasse can indicate you ”Le palais des Congrés” ou ”Le Casino”) We wish you a comfortable journey See you soon in Grasse and best regards Francis, Florent and Monique From: Francis Pierron ******************************************************************************** |
