Subject: Call for Papers for 16th Laser Ranging Workshop Session 4: Network and Station Performance

We are organizing the ”Network and Station Performance” session
during the 16th International Workshop on Laser Ranging in Poznan,
Poland, scheduled for 08:30-10:00 on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
The session is intended to discuss both the performance of the present
network and its evolution for enhancing the production of ILRS data.
In line with the workshop theme ”SLR - the next generation”, we solicit
to contribute with presentations on:

- what issues the community may encounter as it evolves to higher
fire rates, lower power systems, difficult targets, more timely data/
file transfer, etc.

- moving present techniques for laser ranging to meet ”next generation”
requirements at:
prediction centers
tracking sites
data centers
analysis centers
