The T2L2 instrumentation will be switch on in 2 days : on Wednesday 10h40 TU. At that time the T2L2 laser photo detection onboard will not be on : some internal calibration and measurements are required, and will be processed until Monday 30th. If every thing is ok , the photo detection will be powered on at 10:00 UT on Monday 30th. The real T2L2 laser operations should start from this instant. >From the T2L2 point of view, every laser stations can fire on Jason 2 normally from Monday 30th. In order to start the tunning phase of the onboard instrumentation, we need to work with the largest laser station numbers. The data analysis will be performed just after the first data download and we will see at this moment if some special requirements are needed (energy, divergence, time sequence,...). We will give you some extra information in real time. The definitive orbit should not be reached before July 4th but the laser prediction will be computed automatically, from now, by the CNES crew. You will receive a e-mail on that question. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate. Thank you for your participation.
