IDS Workshop 2010, call for participation
21-22 October 2010
Lisbon, Portugal

As announced in January, the International DORIS Service (IDS) workshop
will be held on October 21-22, 2010.

This workshop is held in conjunction with:
* the 2010 Ocean Surface Topography Science Team meeting (OSTST), 18-20
October, 2010,
* and an application workshop ” Towards higher resolution remote sensing
of ocean dynamics and terrestrial surface waters” , 21-22 October 2010.

The venue will be the Lisbon International Fair in Portugal.

The purpose of this IDS workshop is to bring together representatives
from all DORIS groups to share information about the network, data,
products, and to perform inter-comparisons. Developments and scientific
results in all aspects of the DORIS system will be highlighted. The
meeting will be a forum for discussion and coordination of future
activities.

Participation:
---------------
IDS contributors are invited to submit a presentation (oral or poster) to
the IDS workshop for presenting results in relation with topics such as:

* System: satellites, network, system improvements, new data format,
future missions
* IDS: organization, analysis coordination, analysis centers, data centers
and data flow
* Geodesy, Reference frame, Earth´s rotation
* Precise Orbit Determination
* Geophysics, atmospheric sciences (troposphere and ionosphere)
* New DORIS applications & products

Among the topics that will be discussed will be DORIS results with the new
satellites (Jason2 & Cryosat2) and progress towards an operational IDS
combination.

Results of new scientific applications of DORIS from external groups to
IDS are also very welcome.

Please submit abstracts by 18 June 2010.
