| Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2010-07-24 01:05:00 UTC Message No. 1890 ******************************************************************************** Author: Mike Pearlman/ILRS CB Subject: 17th International Laser Ranging Workshop Dear Colleagues, Due to the damage caused by the earthquake, the next Laser Workshop cannot not be held in Concepcion as planned. Recovery is taking a little longer than anticipated. BKG has offered to hold the workshop in the Wettzell area next spring. We have asked BKG if they can make arrangements to hold the workshop during the week of May 9. This would be a month separated from EGU. We await their response. Let me know if there are issues or conflicts with this timeframe. Many of us were very much looking forward to going to Chile as this would have been the first time that the workshop would have been held in South America.
