Wetzel, NASA SLR Subject: Reply to SLR mail No.0018 : Temporary shutdown of 8834 Dear Ulrich, As the NASA SLR TiPS Project Manager I am wondering what the status of the WLRS will be for the upcoming TiPS mission. As I reported at the CSTG meeting in Porto on June 6th, the Naval Research Laboratory is planning on jettisoning TiPS in the near future, actually within the next week. In your best opinion will the WLRS be able to support the TiPS mission in the near future? If not, any support that you can provide when you system is back on- line would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Scott L. Wetzel NASA SLR [Mailed from: Scott L. Wetzel ******************************************************************************** |
