Since Tokyo is located 500km or more away of epicenter, shake was middle but largest in my experience. All colleagues in Koganei(7308,7328) station and SLR systems are safe. However, there is a lack of supply electric power in Tokyo metropolitan area by failure of a couple of nuclear reactors in the coast. So, a regulated power interruption is planned everyday starting in this week may make unable Koganei operation time to time. Other stations (GUTS Tanegashima and Simosato) are located in west part of Japan and there should be no affection from the earthquake. Best regards, Hiroo Kunimori, NICT From: Hiroo Kunimori ******************************************************************************** |
