| Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2011-10-15 09:11:19 UTC Message No. 2023 ******************************************************************************** Author: Gérard Petit (IERS Conventions Center) Information on the updates to the IERS Conventions (2010) The IERS Conventions Center informs of the following updates: * Chapter 5 ”Transformation between the ITRS and GCRS” has been updated on 14 October 2011, see http://tai.bipm.org/iers/convupdt/convupdt_c5.html . The header of the subroutine PMSDNUT2.F has been corrected to point to the right section of Chapter 5 and to provide a new test case. * Chapter 6 ”Geopotential” has been updated on 14 October 2011, see http://tai.bipm.org/iers/convupdt/convupdt_c6.html . Correct errors in the file fes2004_Cnm-Snm.dat: Coefficients for the waves Sa and P1 were computed with an erroneous phase. In the section 6.3.2 ”Ocean tide models”, part ”FES2004”, insert a warning concerning the phase of the C20 term of the very long period waves (update dated 23 September 2011). * Chapter 7 ”Displacement of reference points” has been updated on 14 October 2011, see http://tai.bipm.org/iers/convupdt/convupdt_c7.html . The subroutine ARG2.F has been corrected to not modify internally the IYEAR argument (the four-digit year). The bug was introduced at the update dated 23 September 2011. The USNO web site http://maia.usno.navy.mil/conv2010/convupdt.html has also been updated.
