Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2011-12-06 08:15:28 UTC Message No. 2029 ******************************************************************************** Author: Carey Noll, Randall Ricklefs Dear Colleagues, As most of you know, the ILRS has been planning for quite some time to transition from the old CSTG and MERIT II data formats to the new CRD format for normal point and full rate data. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this move had to be repeatedly delayed. Finally, early next year, we expect to complete the transition, the goal being March 1. We will not proceed, however, until we are certain that both the old and new format repositories at the CDDIS and EDC contain the same passes. This message is a reminder to those who have not yet made provision for the CRD format that the time is short. New data will no longer be available from the data centers in the old formats once the transition has occurred. If you have any questions, please contact Carey Noll Best regards, Carey Noll Randall Ricklefs ILRS Central Bureau -- ----------------------- Randy Ricklefs ------------------------ ricklefs@csr.utexas.edu Center for Space Research, The University of Texas at Austin Austin TX 78712 ******************************************************************************** |
