URGENT MAIL - Envisat Major Anomaly (2)

Dear Laser Stations, dear colleagues,

Thanks a lot to all for your prompt reaction in tracking Envisat and for the
reporting your delivered so far.
This is highly appreciated and of utmost importance for us to understand and
characterise the Envisat orbit and attitude.

We are still sending regular TC toward Envisat but with no success so far.
Investigation is on-going.

I will therefore kindly ask to maintain (or even increasing if possible) the
effort in tracking Envisat and to let us know more detailed information on
the Envisat passes.
Can you please report for each tracking pass:
- In case no return, although no clouds present, laser station in nominal
condition => Time of the pass
- In case of partial returns, although no clouds present, etc.
=> Time of period where a return was expected

This might not be a nominal procedure and a nominal type of information,
however if you keep such type of logs that would be appreciated.

Warm regards, Pierre Féménias
