| Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2012-11-05 08:15:17 UTC Message No. 2129 ******************************************************************************** I regret to inform you that the Prof. Yuri Artyukh , Head of Time measurement Laboratory at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science, passed away yesterday, October 31. Since 1976 he worked on high-precision time measurements and event timer system design for different applications, including SLR. He was behind the entire line of Riga event timers designed for the SLR and now used in many stations around the world. We will miss him greatly.
