Content: | ******************************************************************************** SLR Electronic Mail 2013-03-07 15:16:14 UTC Message No. 2156 ******************************************************************************** *Author:* Matthew Wilkinson Dear colleagues The newlook SGF website (http://sgf.rgo.ac.uk) is providing two updating information services on the current status of SLR tracking. The first is a daily quality check of the available CPFs through a direct comparison of the XYZ values at the midnight epochs. These quick-look plots can identify a CPF provider that stands off from the other providers for a particular satellite. A SLR station can then choose which CPF to use for successful tracking. Full CPF residuals to a running mean are also available from this page. See herehttp://sgf.rgo.ac.uk/qualityc/cpf_qc.html The second service is an updated ´dynamic priority´ list, originally designed by P. Gibbs. This table uses the number of normal points submitted to the ILRS over the last 10 days, the NP bin size and an assigned priority value from 1-5 to list the ILRS satellites in order of tracking priority. This table is regenerated every hour, see herehttp://sgf.rgo.ac.uk/operations/dynamicpriority.html All comments and suggestions are welcome and we would appreciate any feedback on whether these pages will be useful to you. Best regards Matt Wilkinson -- *SGF, Hestmonceux* http://sgf.rgo.ac.uk ******************************************************************************** |
