Dear ILRS Colleagues,

This is the first announcement of the next international workshop
on laser ranging to be held in Japan this November.

The 18th International Workshop on Laser Ranging is organized
so that the worldwide scientists and engineers in this and related
fields can exchange their views, share opinions on the on-going
problems and navigate the future.

In addition to the important topic of maximising accuracy,
this workshop is intended to enhance the potential of laser
ranging with the inclusion of activities in relevant fields.

- Pursuing Ultimate Accuracy & Creating New Synergies -

Date and Place:
11 (Monday) to 15 (Friday) November 2013
Highland Resort Hotel, Fujiyoshida, Japan
(Chairpersons meeting is scheduled on Sunday evening, 10 Nov.)
(Registration desk opens also on Sunday 15.00-19.00, 10 Nov.)

The procedures for the registration (incl hotel booking) and
the abstract submission are to be announced in July.
